Hooray- It's your birthday card

Hello everyone,

Sharing yet another birthday card. This polka dot stencil is one of our favourites. Adding multiple colors just makes the card more happy and cheerful. Doesn't it!?

These bunnies are so tiny and super cute, which makes it a perfect choice to use white scraps of paper. 😉 Win- win for us! 😁

Pawsome Pups: Birthday card

Hello everyone,

Sharing another birthday card using Pawsome Pups stamp. We kept the card Clean and Simple (CAS).

Glad we got to use this sentiment stamp set from Jane's Doodles that we got sometime (read 2 years) back. We used warm colors for the background stencilling.

Hooray- birthday card

Hello everyone,

Sharing a birthday theme card using an image that was stamped and colored few years ago. We are sure we are not alone in this situation. We tend to color and cut many images before hand and store them, only to be used later. Sometimes, they get used and other times, they remain unused for a really long time. While searching some images, we came across this puppy image from YNS.

Foxy card- 2

Hello friends,

We are back with another card.

This one using a rotating stencil to create a plaid design. Ain't it cool!? We cut a piece of vellum in circle shape and placed behind the stamped image to soften the background a bit.

Foxy card

Hello friends,

We are back to blog after a while. Since we took a break from card making, when we returned to it recently, we were facing artist's block. So, we thought good way to begin creating again would be to keep things simple by sticking to basic supplies and techniques.

So, we started playing with stencils. And, the result is a CAS card. We are happy with the outcome. ✌️

Football theme Birthday card

Hello everyone,

We are back with a birthday card.

We tried something different this time - a football theme card. It was made for a friend's son for his birthday.

We used these hexagon dies for the first time since we bought it 2 years ago. We love doing scene building using stencils.

Football was created using hexagon dies. We cut multiple white and black hexagons and stuck it together on a base and cut it out using a circle die. The final football you see is our second attempt. First one didn't turn out quite well. The trick to get a ball that looks moving is to cut it at an angle.

This idea of making a football using hexagon dies is inspired by another card maker. We don't remember the name, but, we came across the post on Instagram.
