Mushroom- Mini Art Journal page

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. I only recommend products I use.

Hello everyone,

Sharing inspiration for the October release by Varada Sharma. We used Welcome Fall digital stamp for making this.

Mini art journal, digital stamps, Varad Sharma Designs

We made an art journal page after a very long time. Our favourite part was making the background. It's fun to mix and play with colors.

We did some ink smooshing on top of a sheet where had done stencil monoprint. Since the colors were very light, we added some more inks. We used dye ink pad and some brush pens (yellow and orange colors) for making the inky background.

We're happy with the outcome. 😇

In case, you liked the photography background we have used here, you can buy it here. Btw, it is a double sided background with white and black side. Isn't that wonderful!? 😄

Hugs: Floral card Ft. Varada Sharma Designs

Hi everyone,

We are back with inspiration for the August release by Varada Sharma Designs. These digital stamps are free as of now, do check them out here.

This is a stamp called Coneflower. We have tried a different color combo this time compared to usual. Dark blue+ Gold color combo is new to us, though we have seen other card makers use this often. We used dark blue cardstock for the base and golden washi tape on the side. Added some gold glitter die cut for the sentiment.

Do let us know what you think of our first attempt at this dark blue+ gold combo.

While you're here, I would love for you to stop by and check out our other blog, where we post healthy recipes and nutrition related articles. 😄

Floral Thank you Card

Hi friends,

We are back with a floral card created using Rose Corner stamp from April release by Varada Sharma. The best part is the versatility of this stamp, it beautifully lends itself to many occasions like Birthday, Anniversary, Holiday, Friendship Day, Mother's Day, Thank you cards, Just, because cards etc. We made a thank you card by adding a thank you die cut.

Going with our motto of using never before used supplies this year, we have used these dies by Unity Stamps which we got August last year.

You are the sweetest

 Hello everyone,

We have been inspired by the color palette @magengodesigns for this card, where we have used paper strips for the background and used the stamp against vellum to bring the focus. The sentiment is from Bitty Bears stamp set by My Favourite Things.

By the time, we entered the Challenge, they had announced the winners. We were late😅

Lotus Art journal page

 Hello everyone,

Lotus is such an inspiration to all to us. Don't you agree? It grows through the muddy water, still it blooms with beauty. It teaches us perseverance.

No matter, how the hard the situation might be, we can still come out of it and shine. That's the thought behind this journal page.

Mini art journal- Grow Beautifully

 Hello everyone,

What's your go to on days you feel low!! For us, it listening to soothing music, and art of course!!

There's something therapeutic about art journalling, no rules, it's all about going with the flow and enjoying the process. And we love adding inspirational quote (source: Pinterest). Used vellum to mute the background, and we love how it makes the black die cut stand out. Added white doodling to the background.

The girl image is illustrated by our dear friend Raga of @perkyhobby.

Thanks Floral Card

 Hello friends

Sharing a floral card.

Time and tide waits for no one⏰⏳

Today's card is the slowest card we have ever made, can you guess how long it took us to make this one!!

We had started coloring the image way back in Feb end, and left it halfway to complete later. While going through our stash recently, we realized that time had flown by, and it is already Nov end now 🤭 To prevent any further delay, we finished coloring it and embossed the sentiment stamp on vellum, ink blended and wrapped it around. Adhered it on a card base and tada, we finished it😀
