Handmade Greeting Card: Mother's Day

Hi friends,
Yet another post made for Mother's day.
This card has quite a few elements in it. We have created a simple card with a hand drawn image of a mother- baby duo cuddling. We have stuck yellow flower punches around it in a heart design and added a quilled Malaysian flower to add charm to it. We have written a sentiment and finished it.

2. TTTC045
We have selected diagonal: Punch/ Die- cut, Free & Yellow

Mother's Day Card

Hello friends,

We are back with a new post which we have especially created for the coming MOTHER'S DAY and thought to combine it with a few craft challenges.

Today’s card is also a basic card done in “Black- White- Pink color” combo. Initially we were clueless about making it, but then an idea struck our minds and we went ahead with zentangle art. It has come out better than what we imagined. We were keen on keeping it “Clean & Simple”, so you can see as to why we have not used a lot of embellishments.

We are entering the card into the following challenges:

  1. Challenge #131 - Black, White and Pink
  2. Pearls or Mother's Day (where applicable)
  3. Challenge # 16 Anything Goes
  4. Papercrafters' Linky Party 12

{PIN}spirational ANNIVERSARY Challenge #213

CD Tea Light Holder

Hello friends,

Take a look at this unique, exquisite and really easy-to-make tea light holder.
It’s a great way to put into use those CDs that you need no more. Don’t throw them out!  You can make all kinds of great things with them!

If you love crafting with CDs, you need to check out:

This one's really simple, with minimal supplies required;
  • ·         Old CD that you are about to throw
  • ·         Kundan stones/ rhinestones in colors of your choice
  • ·         Half pearls
  • ·         Ball chains
  • ·          Glue / Fabric glue

We have created a basic design, but you can let your imagination go wild. In the centre, we have stuck a layer of purple ball chain followed by half pearls and added one more layer. Then, we have pasted pink rhinestones around it and again layered it up with half pearls and ball chain and they are good to go. Now decorate your home in style!

We are entering into the All sorts challenge, with the theme “PEARLS”. We just love pearls, they are versatile. They add elegance and charm to your projects. They can be used in jewellery, handmade cards, rangolis, photo frames and just about any mix- media projects.

Thannks for stopping by.
