Birthday album

Hello friends
Sharing a birthday album we made recently. We used a lot of stamps from our stash. We love using our stamps in albums.
We learnt so many new folds and cards in the making of this album.
*It's a picture heavy post.

Happy birthday die cut is from Spellbinders, it is cut from a watercolor paper where we did watercolor swiping.

The Smile die cut is from Pinkfresh studios.

We have used Craftyscrappers stamps. The balloon stencil is actually a die cut on acetate and used as a stencil.

Joy to the World- Tag

Hello friends
Sharing a Christmas tag, this one is using MFT Bitty bears stamp set.
We have created a tag for 12 Tags of Christmas 2019 Challenge by Ellen Huston. We were inspired by Heather Meeson from Day 7. She had critters with music in the background. For the music BG, we used stamp from HNDMD.

Snowman Shaker Tag

Hello friends

Sharing another Christmas tag inspired by Caly Person from Day 17. We were inspired by the the shaker tag that resembled an ornament.

We used snowman from Create-a-smile stamps. Added sequins from Papericious, added white snow using gelly roll pen. Finished with red ribbon.

Folio Album

Hello friends
Sharing our first ever album- a folio album with you.
We have used 300 gsm white cardstock as the base, Mudra Beary Hugs pattern paper and ribbons, washi tapes from our stash. We added 2-3 interactive elements.

We enjoyed making something different than usual. Hope you like it.

Surprise Slider Card

Hello friends

Back with one more greeting card using Craftyscrappers stamp- MAGICAL BIRTHDAY, we love this cute dragon. You can check our previous card using the same stamp here.

We have made a birthday card, who doesn't love surprises, right? We had surprise slider card in our to-do list for long, we finally made it. The gift is made using washi tapes and added a bow to complete the look (as we didn't have any pattern paper that would go well with this card or the color wouldn't suit with what we had in mind, then after breaking our heads for long, we thought to create pattern using washi tape from our stash. Don't you think washi tapes are cool?). 

We are happy with the outcome.

Hello friends

We are back with a new post, this time it is bookmarks.

                                                 

 We often read books and then forget where we left. So,it was useful to make some bookmarks and these are fun and easy to make(as exams are approaching us).  

We bought this washi tape from Itsy Bitsy, we love chevron prints, so we bought them without thinking twice. This corner bookmark was easy to make.

Festive Wall Hanging- DIY Elephant Toran (Navratri series -2)

Hello everyone

Happy Navratri to all my Indian friends.
We are back with one more creation, this time it is a wall decor idea, especially suited for festivals.

With festivals round the corner, we made a toran to give our home a festive look.
We have recycled pizza boxes as a base for this wall hanging, you can use any cardboard. Those who are a regular here might be knowing our love for recycled crafts and handmade goods. So, this is a win-win for us as it incorporates our two loves.

Toran in making

Materials Required:
Cardboard/ Pizza box
Colored sheets
Rhine stones/Kundan stones
Pearls
Golden ball chain
3D outliner-gold (we used Fevicryl Hobby Ideas)
3D Golden glitter tube (Fevicryl Hobby Ideas)
Golden ribbon
Glue

Method:
1. Draw an outline for elephant on the cardboard, you may make birds or anything you wish to. Make for such outlines.
2. Likewise draw the outline on colored sheets that we will use to cover the cardboard base. Cut them out.
3 Paste the colored cut-outs of elephant on the cardboard cut-outs with glue.
4. With the help of 3D outliner, outline the elephant. Let it dry completely.

5. Now comes the fun part, you can let your imagination go wild and embellish the wall hanging in any design you like. We made a design the elephant back with 3D glitter.
6. Now stick the stones, pearls and ball chain the way you like.
7. Stick the completed pieces on ribbon, leaving some ribbon on top to hang it on wall.
Ta-da it is ready.
