Cute couple Magic Slider card

 Hello everyone,

It's been a long while since we posted here. We will try to be more regular from now on.

We made yet another magic slider card, this time, featuring Cute Couple stamp set by Mudra, which is our recent purchase. This set was in our wishlist since a long time. Everytime, we would see it on any online craft website, it would be out of stock. When we saw that it was in-stock this time, we grabbed it. Yay, happy us!

We used Lawn Fawn XOXO background for for the background. Doesn't it pair up perfectly with this stamp set!

Mini Art journal series-4

Hello friends,

It's been long since we shared an art journal page.

"If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try." We were inspired by this quote on Pinterest. Though we admire when others do stencil monoprint technique, we were scared to try it ourselves. As we felt it may not come out well. But, we thought finally, that it was time to get rid of fear and inhibitions that stop you from trying new things.

So we tried our hands at stencil monoprint technique, we loved the outcome. But we kept the background lying for some time. Finally, the background was put to good use.

We decided to use the Stencil monoprint background for art journaling. We did some ink blending using similar colors. We did ink smooshing for the monsters. The quote was written on black paper using white gel pen.

Ta da! Our art journal is ready! We loved the outcome.

Supplies used:

Mudra Crazy monsters stamp set

Mudra Lattice Fusion stencil

Mudra Mai Fuschia Pink

Surprise Gatefold Diwali card

 Hello friends

We wanted to try something other than simple fold, so did Surprise Gatefold card inspired by Jennifer McGuire.

This Lattice Fusion stencil by Mudra is so versatile, it can be used for different occasions. We enjoyed stencilling with bright colors!!

Added Diya stamp by Varada Sharma. Though many things have changed in the last few decades, like LED lights and fancy lanterns; nothing comes close to earthen lamps for Diwali, agree!!

Supplies used-

Stencilled Diwali Card

 Hello friends

Sharing our second Diwali card for this year.

Diwali is synonymous with vibrant and rich colors, hence we went with these colors for stencilling with this gorgeous Floral Mosaic stencil by @mudra and combined with @itsybitsy Ornate die and @dadarkararts Gold Mirror cardstock. Photographing gold mirror cardstock was a real challenge.

We began by stencilling the design using Blueprint, Arctic and Peacock Dye inks from Craftyscrappers. The Stencil is by Mudra. We cut a Ornate die cut using Gold mirror cardstock. Then heat embossed the sentiment using Gold embossing powder.

Floral layout

Hello friends

It's been long since we made a layout, recently we have been making a lot of cards. To try something different, we made a layout.

We started with masking and stencilling using yellow ink. We then gold embossed flowers and leaved from Sweet rose stamp set, water-colored and fussy cut. We then did repeated stamping on the edges, using black ink. We then matted the photo on black paper. And arranged flowers to our liking and adhered it. We cut few circle die cuts from pink and yellow cardstock and stamped sentiment on it.

We felt the background was a bit plain, so we did some stencilling on the right part of the base. We stuck the circle die cuts and finished off by stamping camera and few other words from Photo Booth stamp set.
Ta-da, our layout is ready!

Supplies used:
Mudra Sweet-rose Stamp set
Mudra Lattice-fusion Stencil
Neat and Tangled Photo Booth stamp set

Floral Bunch

Hello friends

Sharing a floral card.
We have made this card inspired by the current sketch at MFT. The background is stencilled by masking the panel using washi tape and ink blending with Craftyscrappers dye ink pad- Artic and Peacock. We used vellum to mute the background.

Floral bunch stamp set is by Mudra, which we colored last year during Kathy Rac's coloring challenge. Finally, we made it into a card. The sentiment is from a stamp set by Altenew. The golden strip is a snippet. Finished off with sequins by Mudra.
