Christmas tag

 Hello friends

Sharing a Christmas tag for 25 Days of Christmas tags event hosted by Tracey McNeeley. We look forward to this event all year, as it is so much fun to see amazing tags made by all the designers.

We were inspired by Lindsey Larsen from Day 1 .

The scalloped circle was  created using decorative scissors. We made a background using repeated stamping technique. We used a image from Bitty Bears stamp set by MFT.  Finished off by tying a ribbon.

Mini Note card- Cat Lover's hop

 Hello friends

We know we are late in sharing our entry for Cat Lover's hop, but nevertheless we find time to make it to the linkup.

We have a note card to share. It's really simple one. We did some stencilling for the background. The cat image is from Little Birdie stamp set. The sentiment is from the same set.

Surprise Gatefold Diwali card

 Hello friends

We wanted to try something other than simple fold, so did Surprise Gatefold card inspired by Jennifer McGuire.

This Lattice Fusion stencil by Mudra is so versatile, it can be used for different occasions. We enjoyed stencilling with bright colors!!

Added Diya stamp by Varada Sharma. Though many things have changed in the last few decades, like LED lights and fancy lanterns; nothing comes close to earthen lamps for Diwali, agree!!

Supplies used-

Lantern Diwali card

 Hello friends

Be like the lights of Diwali...

Driving away darkness and spreading brightness all around.

Sharing our second card using Akash Kandil (aka lanterns) and Happy Deepavali sentiment which are a part of Varada Sharma November pre- release- Light up the World stamp set. We used Memory box die for background and some ink blending to show light coming out from lanterns.

Diya Spinner card

Hello friends

We have an interactive card using diyas (earthen lamps) from @varadasharma

The idea for placement of the diyas came from a Rangoli that mom had put during Navratri. I (Subhashini) shared it with Chandhini to implement the idea in our card. That is when the interactive card freak in Chandhini got an idea spark to make a spinner card. Well, I couldn't say a no to her idea😅

Inspired by @ashleytucker video!! A spinner card was in our to do list for long time.

Well, many things have changed in the last few decades, we now have LED lights too. But nothing comes close to earthen lamps for Diwali, agree!!
