Growing in Unity- Day 4

Hello friends,

Sharing another card for our inspiration post as Growing in Unity gal.

Love how the look of stamps change when we just use a part of it rather than whole image. I'm sure we all do that, isn't it.

Used some bold colors here for the Stenciled background and left it without sentiment so as to personalise it as occasion demands.

Do you ever leave your cards without a sentiment, let us know in the comments below πŸ‘‡

Polaroid has been on our wish list for quite sometime now, so thought of making it with existing supplies till we get one. We used square die and trimmer to make one.

Growing in Unity-Day 3

Hello everyone,

Sharing mini art journal page for today's inspiration at GIU- Growing In Unity. Who said stamps are only for card making, of course, not, right!!

We have earlier used Unity Stamps Planner gal in art journal here. Check it out.

We used Bowl full of comfort stamp set for making this mini art journal page.

The sentiment says: "You only live once, lick πŸ˜‹ the bowl". Don't get us wrong πŸ˜…!

The essence of this sentiment is: Enjoy your life to the fullest without worryingπŸ˜ƒ.

Also, we have used the stencil monoprint of the first card that we shared this week. You can check the card here. It's always good to get more out of your supplies πŸ˜€

We have shared a tutorial for making mini art journal. Check it here.

Sharing our creation for Day 2 as Growing in Unity girl.

Life is like a mirror. Smile 😊 at it and it smiles back at you

- Bryant H. McGill

You already know our love for rainbow 🌈, so used a rainbow pattern paper for the background. We cut out the word smile and used the negative die cut for the background. I love the pop of colors 🎨 here which pairs beautifully with this stamped image!!

Growing in Unity- Day 1

 Hello everyone,

We are so excited to be GIU (Growing in Unity) girl this week. Sharing our first creation here.

You deserve the best!!

Nothing like an encouragement card to uplift your loved ones, right!!  Used rectangle die to cut the panel a bit smaller than the card base. Then started Stencilling with Daffodil ink pad. Rotated the stencil and stenciled again to achieve a halo effect around the lady.

We were looking for the perfect sentiment in our stash and found this one, went well with our card theme, so heat embossed it on black cardstock and adhered it to finish the card!!

Supplies used-

Unity Stamps Planner gal- One happy life

Beautiful Day card

Hello everyone,

Colors at March Inspiration Challenge were vibrant and cheerful that we couldn't resist but make a card!! So, grabbed our favorite stamp from @altenew Beautiful Day and made this!! For the background, we masked to give it a framed look and stencilled with 2 colors.

Once we were happy with the arrangement, went ahead and adhered it to card base. Finished off with sentiment!!

We are happy with the outcome!

Any tips for floral arrangement are welcome!

Floral rainbow card

 Hello everyone,

Sharing yet another card using floral die.

Ain't thus floral die from Pinkfresh Studios pretty! We wanted this die to be the focal point. So, we kept it simple. Added some white pearls. And finished off with heat embossed sentiment.

Happy birthday Waffle Flower

Hello everyone,

We haven't played with these little kids from Waffle Flower Hello stamp set for quite some time. When we saw the theme at Waffle Flower, our hands were itching to make a birthday card. We love rainbow colours, so thought why not incorporate rainbow pattern paper that we bought some time back.

Subhashini always wanted to make kids around a frame. Finally, we put that idea into action. We are happy with the outcome. To add some interest, we stuck the panel at an angle.

Ain't the sentiment perfect for a birthday card!
