Hello friends
It's been long since we shared an art journal page.
If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try. We were inspired by this quote on Pinterest. Though we admire when others do stencil monoprint technique, we were scared to try it ourselves. As we felt it may not come out well. But, we thought finally, that it was time to get rid of fear and inhibitions that stop you from trying new things.
So we try our hands at stencil monoprint technique, we loved the outcome. But we kept the background lying for some time. Finally, the background was out to good use.
We decided to use the Stencil monoprint background for art journaling. We did some ink blending using similar colors. We did ink smooshing for the monsters. The quote was written on black paper using white gel pen.
Ta da! Our art journal is ready! We love the outcome.
Supplies used:
Mudra Crazy monsters stamp set
Mudra Lattice Fusion stencil
Mudra Mai Fuschia Pink
Interested to see the project where we did the stencil to get the monoprint for this art journal! Check it out here.
Entering the art journal page into the following challenges:
1. Mudra-craft-challenge-37-say-it-with-an-expression- What a lovely expression by the monsters! Also, what is better to express our thoughts than an art journal!
9. Stamplorations: November-stencil-challenge
10. Timeout challenge This is the quickest art journal we have made, as the background was ready before hand.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great day.
