Hello friends,
My heart ❤️💘 is wherever you are....
With Valentine's Day around the corner and card challenges having a theme around the same, we were tempted to make one. So, used this cute lil pug from Sugarpea Designs to make this card. As the stamp outline was too thin to fussy cut, we stamped it onto watercolor cardstock, cut using a heart die and colored it.
We die cut the word XOXO using our brand new die by Dress My Craft, did ink blending in ombre manner. We die cut the banner die on a scrap piece of black cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment. The strip of pattern paper is a scrap, which was left over from making album last year. Once we were satisfied with the placement of elements, we adhered it to finish the card!!
Supplies used:
Sugarpea Designs stamp set
DMC alphabet dies
Craftangles heart nesting dies
Itsy bitsy banner die
Entering the card into the following challenges:
1. Mix-it-up-challenge- we were inspired by the inspiration photo
2. Timeout challenge-179- I love white heat embossing sentiment on black cardstock5. The house that stamps built
This is adorable!! Love the color combo; it's always so elegant and absolutely perfect for Valentine's Day. And I really love those black and white stripes down the side! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
