Let's face it, all of us fall short of pen stands to store our color markers, pens, pencils and paint brushes. It saves us a ton of time in sorting things out and makes crafting a lot more easier and faster. Organization is a big part of time management. I guess you all would agree with us on this.
Today, we want to share a cute owl pen stand with you. This is a simple and kid friendly project. You can make it in an hour if all items are in hand. We love to make recycled crafts, and this is our latest addition to the list. We have used old CDs and even the paper used to cover CDs are reused ( it was used in our assignment).
So, without further ado, let's look at owl pen stand.

It's very cute. I'm interested to now how you actually made it. How did you cut the cd? Can you just use scissors? Did you draw the Owl yourself or is it a printable from somewhere? What did you use for the centre to put the pens in?
ReplyDeleteWe first drew the lines on CD with black marker, then heated the CD with hair dryer and cut it with scissors. If your scissor is sharp enough, you may be able to cut with it. We drew the owl ourselves. For the centre, we used toothpaste cartoon cut into half, stuck colored paper on it. And finally stuck the cds on both sides.
