Cross stitched Rose

Hello friends

A rose🌹 can never be a sunflower 🌻, and a sunflower can never be a rose. All flowers are beautiful in their own way, and that's like women too.
-Miranda Kerr

Sharing our next attempt with cross stitching, this time a rose 🌹It is a labour of love, quite literally, it took 5 days. Actually we ran out of embroidery floss when we were almost to finish it. Then, waited for a whole week to get it. Hence, the delay🤭
Anyways, we did enjoy making this, but counting was a task.
Scroll to see the rose in detail and also our quilled butterfly earrings. Well, what's a flower that doesn't attract butterflies. And when it's rose, it oughta attract butterflies.... 🤪😅

You can check our first try at cross-stitching here.

  2. This is so beautiful and just love the different pink colours used, adds such dimension to it. You did really well for your second attempt, think you might be a natural. I did cross-stitch years ago and remember how hard it was to keep track of stitch counts and squares etc. Look forward to seeing more of your projects and so happy you shared this with us at TIME OUT!

  4. Hello, Creative Twins! Your cross-stitch is absolutely gorgeous! I have never tried this craft myself so I'm super impressed! The rose is beautiful and I like how you used different shades of pink and green to add the look of shadows, nicely done!
